Instructors Emmanuel Moutafov works at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Art Studies. He also teaches Late antique and Byzantine art at the Sofia University ‘St Kliment Ohridski’, and is in charge of the research activities of the Centre of Excellence ‘Heritage BG’. Prof. Moutafov is a member of the Commission Inscriptiones Greacae Aevi Byzantini of the Association Internationale des Études Byzantines from 2022. Ida Toth works at Oxford University, where she convenes graduate courses in Medieval Latin, Byzantine Greek, and Byzantine Epigraphy. She is also a supernumerary fellow of Wolfson College (Oxford). Dr Toth was appointed a chair of the Commission Inscriptiones Greacae Aevi Byzantini of the Association Internationale des Études Byzantines in 2022. Andreas Rhoby works at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Institute for Medieval Research. He is head of the Department of Byzantine Research. In addition, he is Privatdozent at the University of Vienna. Dr Rhoby is a chair of the Commission Corpus Fontium Historiae Byzantinae and member of the Commission Inscriptiones Greacae Aevi Byzantini of the Association Internationale des Études Byzantines. Antonio, Enrico Felle works at University of Bari ‘Aldo Moro’, where he holds graduate and doctoral courses of Early Christian, Early Byzantine and Medieval Epigraphy. Prof. Felle is a project Director of the Epigraphic Database Bari and also co-director of the Corpus of the Inscriptiones Medii Aevi Italiae. Georgios Pallis teaches at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens as Associate Professor of Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Archaeology and Art. He is also Secretary General of the Christian Archaeological Society at Athens (founded in 1884).
